Split is a stylish commerical and touristic city. It's the second largest city in Croatia in the heart of Dalmatia.

The city is exceptional since it was built in the third century by Roman emperor Diocletianus. He needed 10 years to built a fabulous palace of which the walls surrounded the city. Today, the building is UNESCO world heritage.

In the heart of the city, there are a lot of small , historic alleys no one can resist. The proof of a rich history, where you can find Roman buildings, next to chapels and medieval churches.
